The Salinas Police Activities League is pleased to announce the 1^st Annual Boots and Bucks Dinner/Dance and live auction.  Join us as we celebrate 20 years of empowering the youth of our community to become the leaders of tomorrow.

We have the building, now we have to start the work!!  Salinas PAL will be cleaning up the Armory grounds on Friday, August 5th at 10am.  This is just the beginning, but stay tuned for the wonderful things to come!! 

Please join us on Tuesday August 2nd from 3pm-7pm for National Night Out!!!  The festivities will be held again at the Soccer Fields on Constitution Blvd. in Salinas.  The CHP and CalStar Helicopters will be in attendance once again.  Be sure to watch the K-9 demonstration and many other organizations.  This is going to be another great year for National Night Out!!  Please come and join us!

Due to an overwhelming response to the Jr. Giants Season, we are suspending sign-ups.  We have over 380 kids signed up for the 2011 season!!  We would like to allow more kids but we are in desperate need of coaches.  Calling all baseball coaches and parents!!! Hey everyone!!  As you can see the Concert flyer is a little different.  Comedian Willie Barcena had to unfortunately drop out of the show.  The good news is that ULTRA Funnyman, Johnny Sanchez (MadTV, The Payaso Comedy Jam, Showtime) has stepped up and will join the hilarious cast for what is sure to be a night to remember.  Don't miss this great show.  Tickets are still available and can be purchased on our website, the Fox Theater, and we will be out around town at tickets stops so be sure to follow us on Facebook.  Thanks everyone!!! 

The Salinas Police Activities League is calling all Baseball coaches.  We will be hosting our 2011 Jr. Giants Season and we NEED coaches.  This is a great opportunity to give back.  

The 2011 Junior Giants Baseball season is set to begin July 16, 2011.  This league is open to all children 5-13.  This is a co-ed league.  Sign-ups will be held outside the Harden Youth Development Center beginning Saturday, May 14th and continuing every Saturday until July 2nd from 10am - 2pm.  Games are played every Saturday at El Dorado Park.  Divisions are as follows:

Thanks to all of the Coaches and volunteers who supported the 2010 season. We could not of had another successful season without you. The kids really enjoyed it and they look forward to the next season.
