Every year Salinas PAL takes lots of 8 to 14 year old kids to Barlocker Ranch for a day of horse care, education and horseback riding. All food and riding equipment is provided by Salinas PAL program. Also included is personal riding instructions by some of the best experts in the area.

The 2007 trip on April 15th, saw scores of children attend this event. All attendees were transported by bus to the ranch and the days events were a complete success.
